EzPinches stores all data locally on your device by default. All body fat calculations are performed entirely on your device.
If you enable Apple Health integration, EzPinches writes your body fat percentage, weight, and lean body mass to Apple Health. If you enable iCloud Sync, your measurements and profile are synced across your devices via your iCloud account. Both features are opt-in and your data stays within your Apple account.
The EzPinches website uses a self-hosted analytics tool (Umami) to count page views and understand which screens are visited. Each page view records the page URL, page title, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, and approximate country derived from your IP address. Your IP address itself is not stored. No cookies are used, no cross-site identifiers are set, and no measurement data, health data, or personal information is collected. All analytics data is stored on infrastructure we operate and is never shared with third parties or advertising networks. The native iOS app does not send any analytics.
We do not sell personal data or use health data for advertising. We do not use third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
Data is retained on your device and linked accounts until you choose to delete it. You can delete all of your data at any time from the Profile screen within the app.
